Aamir Khan comes to the rescue of his friends, when they need him. His Rang De Basanti co-star Siddharth found that out when he helped to get back their distributor for his next movie Striker which is being directed and produced by Chandan Arora.

A source reveals, " The movie went on floors in 2008 and director Chandan was in talks with Studio 18 then for the distribution of the film. Siddharth wasn't happy about the film being sold to Studio 18 for reasons best known to him. He spoke to the director and they ditched the Studio 18 and began looking at other distribution agencies. But in the recession-hit industry they found it difficult to get anyone to come on board."

The source continues, "Siddharth then called Aamir and discussed the situation with him. He even made it clear that he was not willing to take the film back to Studio 18. Khan had a word with them and the deal was signed. This time both sides were happy."
Understandably, Arora doesn't want to talk about the development, but he says, "We are currently in the post-production stage. Studio 18 is the distributor of our movie." When asked about backing out and getting back with them again, he says, "We are not discussing all that right now. Those are things of the past. There are other better things about the movie to be discussed about."
In Striker Siddharth is playing the role of an international carrom player and is paired opposite South actress Padmapriya. The movie deals with the sub-culture and slum life of Mumbai and is inspired by a true life story.
