Talking about his new film, “ 180″, which marks ad guru Jayendra’s feature film debut, Siddharth says that he chose the film for two reasons.
„First, I loved the script and felt it would be a high quality product; second, I love its philosophy about living for the day with no worries about the future. That is how I live my life. So, I felt I could draw from my life to perform the challenging role written for me,“ he explains.
Terming working in his mentor Jayendra’s debut as a dream come true, he says, „I felt like I was back in school. I learnt a lot from him and was also like an assistant director on set.“
So, how did he find working with two pretty heroines in the Telugu-Tamil bilingual? „Both the girls I worked with were wonderful actors with very distinct talents. I was impressed that they both dubbed for themselves in both languages. I see a bright future in store for both in both the languages,“ he predicts.
Ask him how he maintains the same chocolate boy looks that made him a heartthrob in „Boys“ and Siddharth remarks that his looks and fitness have never been his priority. „I enjoy my work and credit my working lifestyle with keeping me looking the way I look. Satisfaction is the ultimate fitness regime,“ he says.
Finally, quiz the actor about the never-ending rumours on his personal life and he says that he is „least bothered“ by them. „I have never believed that anyone has a right on my personal life. The current state of tabloid journalism is an epidemic. There will be a cure soon, hopefully,“ he concludes.
