A Mumbai based tabloid has reported that Dhawan has cast Siddharth in his upcoming film, which is a remake of Sai Paranjpye’s 1981 cult comedy Chashme Buddoor.
Siddharth is all set to reprise Ravi Baswani’s role from the original.
The tabloid has also quoted that it was Siddharth’s proximity to David Dhawan that landed him the role.
Taapsee Pannu is also part of the cast and it’s going to be her debut film in Hindi. However, it’s still not clear if Siddharth & Taapsee are a couple in the film. More details are awaited.
