She was a part of a young talent hunt competition in the city colleges. The film stars Siddharth opposite Shruti. This is her second movie with Siddharth in Telugu after the success of Anaganaga oka dheerudu. There are rumours that they are living in as a couple too.
When asked about her work equation with Siddharth, Shruti could not stop praising him. “I think he is the most commendable actor. He is so alive and giving on the sets, you get to learn a lot from him and he creates a comfort zone for you.”
Shruti has also done Bollywood roles as well. According to her, it’s cinema sans barriers. “I don’t differentiate cinema into Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. We do a lot of movies that are brilliant and I want to do everything that comes my way, even if it is a Japanese film.” she says.
Hyderabad is all about food, she says, “I love the city. It is well organised, clean and beautifully developed. When in Hyderabad, it’s a feast for me. I love kababs and all the nawabi dishes.”
