Oh My Friend set to release on November 11

Siddharth, Shruti Haasan, Hansika and Navdeep starrer Oh My Friend is gearing up for its wide release in November. The audio launch of the film took place at Shilpakala Vedika on October 15 amidst hundreds of college students who were specially invited on the occasion. Venu Sriram is going to make his debut as a director with this film and Dil Raju is producing it. The film is said to be about unconditional friendship and both Dil Raju and Siddharth are confident that it’ll strike the right chord with college goers and youth. This is the first time in five years that Siddharth and Dil Raju have teamed up for a film after Bommarillu. Almost all directors, except Sukumar and Bhaskar, who had worked in Dil Raju’s banner attended the audio launch. At the audio launch, Siddharth and Shruti Haasan crooned a song on the stage and Hansika danced for another song.

Rahul Raj has composed the music for the film and it’s his debut album in Telugu. Sirivennela Seetaramasastry has written the songs in the film and two of them have been sung by Siddharth. Vijay K Chakravarthy is the cinematographer. Except for 3 days of patch work and one song, the film’s shooting has been completed. The film is all set to hit the screens on November 11, 2012.
