Once bitten, Siddharth careful of the media now

Actor Siddharth is careful not to say anything against the media any more as he had invited media wrath in the past by his comments.

Actor Siddharth seems to have learned a lesson and is now all praise for the media. After the music launch of his upcoming film "Love Failure" in Hyderabad, Siddharth went on to praise the media in very kind words. "Big thanks to all the local print, electronic and online media for supporting our unorthodox campaign to bring LoveFailure " closer to you." He also added, "My friend in the media called my new film LoveFailure " the 'biggest small film of 2012!' Beats being the smallest big film, right?"

The actor had last year invited media wrath when he had tweeted, "Third-grade news channel sell their families to make up an hour of TV." Following this statement, the media boycotted the actor's press conference for any of his films. The boycott continued till the actor came up with an apology. Siddharth, in his statement asking for an apology, said, "In reference to one of my tweets in the past regarding certain news channels - My comment should have targeted only them for their actions but not their families. I understand that this has upset the journalistic fraternity and their families. As this was not my intention, I wish to apologize to the families of journalists for hurting their sentiments in any way. Thank you."

A lesson well learned in time.
