Siddharth is no more an actor. He is a producer too, and his maiden production venture 'Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Eppadi', directed by debutant Balaji Mohan, is getting ready to hit the screens come Valentine's Day.
Speaking at the trailer launch of the film in Chennai on Monday, Siddharth said, "I am in the industry for more than a decade. So I wanted to try my hands at a different trade, other than acting. That's how I became a producer."
On the film, he said, "It is a cute love story loaded with humour. Amala Paul is the heroine. The role I have played in the movie is so close to my life, and this is also one of the reasons behind I am turning a producer with this story."
Hailing director Balaji Mohan as a 'young talent', Siddharth said, "He is just 24 and will sure make a big mark in Kollywood with this film." 'Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Eppadi' is jointly produced by Siddharth, cinematographer Nirav Shah and S Sashikanth of Y Not Studios. Music is by Thaman S.
