Siddharth says no to dubbing of O’My Friend!

We had reported earlier that Siddharth has suddenly become hot in Kollywood following the success of his KSY. The film has actually made him a star with Tamil multiplex audiences.

Now one of his recent Telugu films featuring him Shruti Haasan and Hansika O’My Friend is getting dubbed into Tamil as Sridhar. The people who brought the dubbing rights naturally requested Siddharth to use his own voice in the Tamil version.

But Siddharth has flatly refused to dub for the film. The actor tweeted: “Guys, there is no way I'm going back to a dubbing theatre to dub a new language version of any of my older films. No way! Not now. Not ever :)”

Remember there is even a song in the Telugu film sung by Siddharth and Shruti Haasan, which became a chartbuster.  The latest we hear is that the producers of the film have approached STR to sing that song in Tamil!
