Vikram, who is titled as Chiyaan by his fans and most recognized for the different roles played by him, is celebrating his birthday today along with the talented actor Siddharth. The two happening stars are celebrating their birthdays today on April 17th. While Vikram is turning 46, Siddharth turns 33 today.
Vikram, the actor who is known for accepting different roles in his career and his stunning performance, was born as Vikram Kennedy to Vinod Raj and Rajeshwari in Chennai. His debut into film industry was with En Kadhal Kanmani in 1990 later which he acted in many Tamil and Malayalam films and so far acted in nearly 47 films in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi. During these 22 years of his career, Vikram has won five Filmfare Awards, one National Film Award and Tamil Nadu State Film Award amongst other recognitions and was awarded with an Honorary Doctorate by People's University of Milan in May 2011. The actor is looking forward with A.L. Vijay directing Thaandavam with Anushka, Amy Jackson and Jagapathi Babu in the leads alongside him, which is going to be his first release in 2012, after his last film Rajapattai did not do well at the box office and a bilingual film David being directed by Bejoy Nambiar that is simultaneously being filmed in Hindi as well.
Siddharth, the well known actor for his lover boy with boy next-door image was born as Siddharth Narayan to a Tamil Iyer family hailing from Thanjavur in Tamilnadu. Siddu has started his career as an assistant director in the camp of Maverick director Mani Ratnam later through one of his friends he was introduced to director Shankar for the film Boys which eventually turned his theatric debut. Siddharth was well received by the audiences which made him continue acting. The actor has so far acted in 18 films in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi and also recently launched his production house Etaki Entertainment and his latest released bilingual film KSY/Love Failure is his first production venture. Siddharth has also ventured into screenplay writing and is brilliant in choosing scripts that eliminate violence and heavy action sequences. He is having an amazing fan following among youth (Especially girls) and family audiences. Siddharth is looking forward with Vetrimaarn’s production venture that is given NH4 as the working title in Kollywood, Nandini Reddy’s untitled film with Samantha in Tollywood, Chashme Baddoor in Bollywood and Winds of Change in English.
The actors besides celebrating their birthdays on the same day have a similarity in them they have beautiful singers hidden inside them. Chiyaan Vikram and Siddharth, besides being actors also gave their vocals for many of their songs in their films without limiting themselves only for acting.
