Shriya in 'Midnight's Chidren'

Both Siddharth and Shriya Saran are playing in international film, Midnight's Children. Although they are not cast as romantic pair, the film, directed by Deepa Mehta, features them in lead roles. Based on the highly popular novel, Salman Rashdie's Midnight Children, the film is selected for Toronto International Film Festival 2012. 

Shriya Saran plays the role of Parvati-the-Witch, a Midnight's Child, born 7 seconds after midnight. Siddharth is Shiva: Saleem's nemesis, a Midnight's Child, born right at midnight.

For both Shriya and Siddharth, the film will be a big boost for their career, as it would help them getting international recognition.
